AI eliminates human? Probably yes

Just came across the great service using AI (artificial intelligence) to compose a copy right free music, I remembered there are more techs using AIs in the past several years like auto drive car.

Then, I thought to myself that one day AI may decide to destroy human beings.

Big corporations are planning eco-city which are using energy usage data to optimize the eco-level of the entire city. It might not be strange to use AIs to control the entire city electricity usage, water usage and all.

I do not believe humans are designed to consume less. Do not you feel so happy when you are full? Even though you most likely consumed much more than you really needed to survive, you feel so happy when you eat till you feel "full". We love to eat more than enough. This applies to many other things not only eating; we are always willing to save up anything (do you not have some save up in your bank?) and consume more than needed. In other word, we are NOT eco by nature. The essence of ecology is totally opposite to these.

One scenario, if we set the goal for AIs to make the city very eco-friendly, AIs reasonably conclude that the very cause of "un"ecology is the human and tries to eliminate it to achieve the goal.

It is only hypothesis... only...
