Majority of Japanese against tax hike plan: polls 多くの日本人が増税計画に反対

So...the article reads that Yomiuri Shimbun daily reported 55% of the Japanese are opposed to the tax hike plan; the Asahi Shimbun, said 57% of the respondents were against the government raising the sales tax.

The life in Japan is tougher. As you can see in this figure [   http://nensyu-labo.com/heikin_suii.htm the horizontal line shows the year from (Heisei ) 7 i.e. 1997 till ( Heisei)22 i.e. 2011 ], the average salary in Japan has decreased basically which means Japanese are poorer than ever now. Due to the ever rising oil price many things in Japan are more important than ever.  

Why can we not hike the tax only for the luxurious product/service? The tax rise will hit the poor most. The rich will be always resilient to the living cost being high, the poor not. It is known that many western European countries have the high tax but it is not for all products. Usually high tax for the expensive products and no/low tax for normal foods.

日本は食品など一般の製品の税金は高めるべきではない。贅沢品の税金は上げたいだけあげるべき。この図（　 http://nensyu-labo.com/heikin_suii.htm 　）が示すように、日本人の給与レベルは下がる一方である。しかし、物価は原油高の影響等であがる一方。

お金持ちはパンが無ければケーキを食べることも出来るが、パンしか食べられない人が日本には増えている。少ない給料でなんとか生きている家庭が守られなければならない。

This implies that some people in Japan working hard but not earning enough.

日本たばこ産業（ＪＴ）は、高級たばこ「Ｔｈｅ　Ｐｅａｃｅ」（20本入りバージニア葉を１００％使用）を1000円２月１日から全国で発売する。「値段にかかわらず品質の高いものを求める消費者のニーズに応えた」と同社は言うが、これは本当の理由ではないと思う。タバコ税が高くなるなか、タバコが1000円まで上がったときの市場の反応をみることも販売理由にあると考えられる。

I think the 1000JPY cigarette( 20 sticks, 100% Virginia leave) is not just targeting the high end market but the marketing test to see what happens to the tobacco market when the ever rising tobacco tax hits as high as to make one packet 1000JPY.

「食べログ」やらせ書き込み、請負３９業者が Tabelog

口コミを掲載する食べログ（　http://tabelog.com/　）。よく参考にしていた。しかし、やらせが横行していたようです。複数の飲食店で、その店に友好的な書き込みを行う業者から「１０万円で書き込む」などの勧誘があったという。中国では多い業者なので、日本でも出てくるとは思っていたが、やはりという感じ。このような業者は食べログだけにこのような「サービス」を行っているわけではない。他の口コミサイトもこのような業者が書き込みをしていることは考慮しなくてはならない。
The famous website to show which restaurant in Japan is popular based on the message from the users, Tabelog. The operator of this site today said there have been several companies which get paid to put the positive comments on this site. This type of company is prevalent in China so i was wondering when I would see this kind of news. The Tabelog is not the only website doctored by these companies. We always need to keep it in mind there are such companies to trick us.

「元日に食べられない」…おせち３千個遅配 3000 Osechi delivery delayed

This time no because of Groupon but mistakes of the food arrangement in the Osechi box and a series of malfunctions in the belt conveyor machine.
In the past families made their own Osechi( my parents families always cook still) so there was no problem such as this.

御節が食べられない日本の正月は味気ないよね。昔は、自分の家で御節を作っているうちが多かった。何世代にもわたって御節の作り方を伝えているから、そのうち独自の御節もある。自分のうちで作るから、この遅配といった問題も起こりえない。

長野 不明のスノーボーダー発見か three missing snowboarders found

長野で行方不明になっていたスノボ3人が発見されたようです。長野県野沢温泉村のスキー場で、1月２日、男女３人がスノーボードに行ったまま戻らずニュースになっていた。しかし、３日午前８時すぎ、３人とみられるグループが林道を自力で下山しているのが、警察のヘリコプターで確認されたとのこと。よかった。
学生時代スノボーを何回かやった。おぼえたてのスノボーで白馬で調子に乗って、難関コースに朝鮮。友人と一緒に一時道に迷った。迷った先が山の中であればおなじようなニュースになっていただろうが、市街地に迷い込んだ。白馬の一部のスキーコースは山林の公道をつかっており、目印を見間違うと、そのまま市街地の本物の公道に迷い込んでしまうことがある。スノボーで降りていって、横に車が走り始めた時には一緒にいた友人と顔を見合わせた。

My friend and I lost way in Hakuba, Nagano when we were in univ. It could have been some news if we lost our way in the mountains but we lost our ways in the Hakuba city. It was because snow resort there uses a normal street in mountains as a route. Once you lose some sign, you may run into a street with some cars going.
