World’s Tallest Tower Opens in Tokyo

The Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world, will open today on 22nd of May. 
The 634-meter structure in eastern Tokyo near Sumida river is with around 300 shops and restaurants, a planetarium and an aquarium nearby. 
The Tokyo governor was against the plan to build such a tower in the bad economy but later agreed for the plan. It survived the massive earthquake on 3.11. It survived massive typhoons through the years. 


It is a symbol of hope. I would like to congratulate the workers having worked so hard on the tower every day till this opening day.
